  Hillstone is a lovely quiet destination. The caravan park is basic and clean. Nice grassy sites. Probably book in or arrive early. Becomes very busy mid pm.

  The elderly lady was extremely helpful. The cabins are basic but clean, and pretty affordable at 250 a week. They come with kitchenette, separate shower and toilet, as well as AC and a little patio. We loved our stay here.

  MINUS 1 was so stunned at the poor service when after driving thru the night to be told the cabin i had pre booked was Not going to be ready till after 2pm on friday the 15th of sept even tho i had called that morning to say we had arrived early {5am But waited till 9am to call } originally was told no can do 12 midday then pushed back to after 2pm .... then was told that other travelers whom parked their heavy vehicle on public grounds next to said caravan park was told by the lady from the caravan park move your heavy vehicle im on the local council i will call the police and have you booked for Loitering ......Yet from the other wonderful Motel in Hillston and the other top caravan parks in Hay and Finley i've received true country hospitality so much so that i posted links on a large 12k plus members world wide site these out standing places that are a must see

  Clean amenities.. Pleasant manager..Great run for dogs out back on oval..But please remember to do the right thing and pi k up any poops

  Cabin was spacious and tidy on first look , shower needs a good scrub with showerpower ,toilet seat needs tightening up , cooking utensils need replacing with proper cookware suitable for induction cooker ( our dinner tasted like old stale burnt oil needless to say it went in bin ),,ie heavy based bottoms these can be purchased from reject shops at a reasonable price
